This study summarizes the previous research results and puts forward three types of dry hot rock potential areas in Jiangxi: Yanshanian high-radioactive heat producing granite outcropping area, Yanshanian volcanic rock area (volcanic caprock + Yanshanian high radioactive heat producing hidden granite), and Cretaceous red basin (sedimentary caprock+ Yanshanian high radioactive heat-producing hidden granite). By means of geology, geothermal, geophysical prospecting and remote sensing, five hot dry rock potential areas in the Longnan South, Anyuan, Xinfeng, Zhoutian and Shicheng in Jiangxi Province were selected. Magnetotelluric bathymetry was carried out in the southern area of Longnan, where there are the most potential, and it is inferred that three hidden granite rock masses have developed in the depths. According to the results of geology, geophysical prospecting and remote sensing, the delineated area of the hot dry rock prospect area is 298.44 km2, and the total potential resources of static hot dry rock at a depth of 4.6-8.0 km are conservatively estimated to be 220.35×1018J, which can be converted into standard coal of 7.528 billion tons. |
